CALL FOR WORKS:
Project202 is a crowd sourced project with 202 spaces available so make sure you secure your space by following the instructions below.
Theme:
The theme is '202'. This is open for interpretation by you to use with your own on-going enquiry and practice. Work can be experimental or concluded.
We want two pieces of work from you:
-
One to forward on to a fellow participant as part of an exchange.
-
One to archive and use with a series of travelling exhibitions.
Requirements:
2D works are to be presented no larger than A5. The work will not need specific fixtures for hanging but needs to be suitable to sit on a shelf without the need for further support.
3D work is welcome as long as dimensions are considered and fit to parameters of 15cm x 10cm x 10cm.
Audio work is acceptable up to 3 minutes in length and may be submitted via Soundcloud or in mp3 format. Film pieces up to 1minute in duration are acceptable and must be accessible via YouTube or Vimeo. For audio or film work to be eligible for the exchange a working physical copy on CD or DVD must be supplied.
Submission information
Send an image of each work to Gallery202@homail.co.uk
These should be 1000 pixels along the longest edge and 300dpi which will make up the online gallery.
Please also include 2 sets of details i.e. two business cards or similar. Including contact details and links to websites and other online networks. If you wish to include a note about you and your work to be passed forward when works are exchanged please do.
Cost
Entry fee for each set of works is £10.
IMPORTANT: All works are non returnable
Unless it is indicative to your practice we would prefer non photocopied work. Unless crucial to the work framing is not needed.

We advise using recorded or insured mail when posting artworks. Gallery202 cannot be held responsible for works lost or damaged in the post.
Gallery202 will not take responsibility for any damages or losses related to the use of the works for display or when in transit. Gallery202 reserves the right to refuse, delete, withdraw information and/or content deemed unsuitable or offensive.
